Maricopa County is one of the fastest growing places in the nation, as well as one of the largest (9,224 mi²) in the country. The Committee for Adult Programs and Services is one of the groups under the Maricopa County Library Council umbrella that cover the wide variety of libraries within the geographic bounderies of the county.
